Includes three woodblock prints, all presented framed with mats under glass, the first is by Toyohara Kunichika (Japanese, 1835-1900), Going to the Theater, from the series “The Mirror of the Flowering Customs and Manners,” 1868 (Frame dimensions 20 1/4 x 15 1/2 in., Sight size 13 1/2 x 9 1/4 in.)(fading to colors; some creases; area of discoloration to right side; not examined outside of the frame), the second is by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) (Japanese, 1786-1865), Sei Shonagon, Hangandai, Terukuni, Kanshojo, from the series: “The Ogura Imitations of the Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets,” 1847 (Frame dimensions 19 3/4 x 14 3/4 in, Sight size 13 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.)(fading to color; vertical crease down the center; small loss to paper on middle left hand side; not examined outside of the frame), and the third by Utagawa Hirosada (Japanese, fl. 1819-1865), Watashimori Sanjuro, one print from a three print triptych, 1849 (Framed dimensions 14 3/4 x 11 3/4 in., Sight size 9 x 6 1/2 in.)(some worm holes that have been restored; some fading to pigments, especially red; not examined outside of the frame).
