A Chinese Two Sided Circular Silk Fan with Painting and Calligraphy

20th century, hand painted on both sides, the front side featuring seaside landscape painting in gold on indigo blue silk ground with inscription in gold to upper left together with red artist seal, the reverse side with decorated with calligraphy in black ink on gold silk ground, with red artist seal, dated to June of Yiwei year 1955, with ivory handle carved to resemble bamboo with silk cord at bottom.

DOA 15 x 10 3/4 in., Fan only 10 3/4 x 10 3/4 in.
