Challenge Grade decoys were premium hunting decoys produced by the Mason Decoy Factory in the early 20th century. Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and artistry, these decoys featured highly detailed carving, intricate feather painting, and vibrant coloration, making them some of the most realistic factory-made decoys of their time. They often included lifelike glass eyes and fine brushwork, showcasing a level of detail that appealed to both hunters and collectors.

Original paint, head is loose and can be removed from the dowel, stable hairline crack in the head, edge wear on bill, age check on bottom.
