Richard Lindner was a German/American artist known for his bold, imaginative depictions of urban life that often featured stylized figures inspired by cabaret culture and New York City’s vibrant street scenes. After fleeing Nazi Germany in 1933, Lindner settled in New York in 1941, where he worked as an illustrator before turning to painting in the 1950s. He later taught at the Pratt Institute and Yale University. In 1971, he created the Fun City Portfolio, a suite of 14 works—including 12 color lithographs and 2 lenticular prints—published by Shorewood Atelier. The portfolio encapsulates Lindner's fascination with the eroticism, theatricality, and mechanized energy of contemporary urban life.

Good condition, and a strong, bright impression; margins with some minor toning and two small spots; not examined out of frame.
