Meiji period (1868-1912), 19th century, style of Goto Seizaburo of Honcho-dori, Yokohama, with swirling bands of pattern wires in white, red, green, and dark blue ground enamel radiating from a central shaped reserve with vivid aqua blue ground with a majestic phoenix, the sides of dish repeat the same pattern from above, with foot inlaid with enamel pattern, underside is plain with evidence of old paper label.
