Meiji period (1868-1912) or Taisho era (1912-1926), a bulbous shaped censer raised on three tall feet, worked in brass with green and pink enamels to form lotus blossoms and leaves against a white ground, the cover with a scalloped rim and same decoration as body, the cover has three coin motif openings, marked to the underside with apocryphal Dai Ming mark.
4 7/8 x 4 1/2 in.
Private Collection, New York and London Good estate condition; a couple small minor cracks to enamel.
