Meiji period (1868-1912), includes two vases worked in brass wire with colorful medallions and shaped reserves on a mainly dark green and black ground, the neck and foot with a band of blue circle and motif border, one vase with powerful dragon depicted encircling the vase chasing a flaming pearl, turquoise enamel to interior, both vases applied with brass mounts to neck and foot rim, unmarked.

Private Collection, New York and London Good estate condition; a few small minor spots of enamel loss to both.
