circa late 19th century, painted cast iron, place a coin in Uncle Sam's hand and depress the lever to drop it within his satchel while his mouth opens and closes, the figure standing atop a rectangular stage plinth with Americana eagle relief, marked with patent date of "JUNE 8 1886" to underside.
