Circa 1804, woodblock print, from the series "Modern Children as the Six Poetic Immortals" (Tosei Kodomo Rokkasen), a woman with the poet Ariwara Narihira as a boy with bow and arrows and wearing fan-shaped blinders, presented under glass with fabric mat in a black faux bamboo frame.
