A Chinese Metallic Imperial Dragon Embroidery

Late 19th or early 20th century, worked in silver and gold metallic thread on a blue silk ground with a five claw dragon facing to the upper right, a bat and flaming pearl above him, below are large waves and the peak of the universe, presented under glass with double mats in a gilt wood frame.

Frame dimensions 17 x 9 1/2 in., Sight size 12 1/4 x 4 3/4 in.

Overall very good condition; some spots on the right side of stains; not examined outside of the frame.
