A Paul Revere reproduction bowl, pattern number D263, engraved to the front "Deep Run Horse Show / Richmond, Virginia / Virginia Four Show Circuit / High Score Award / Woking Hunter / To be won three times by the same exhibitor"/ to the verso "Bath County Horse Show / Hot Springs Virginia" with Miss Peggy Augustus listed for consecutive wins from 1958-1960 when the award was retired by Little Sailor; also engraved "Warrenton Horse Show / Warrenton, Virginia" and "Glenmore Hunt Club Horse Show/ Staunton, Virginia."

Little Sailor, a striking bay Thoroughbred, was one of Peggy Augustus’s most celebrated hunters of the 1950s. The horse excelled in the working hunter divisions, known for his jumping ability. Peggy Augustus claimed numerous championships at major venues with Little Sailor including coveted Working Hunter titles at the National Horse Show in 1956 and 1959.

Surface scratches to the interior, otherwise good estate condition.
