Meiji period (1868-1912), includes two satsuma artworks, the first a bowl finely painted with two fish swimming in water to the well, the interior and exterior sides in a rich cobalt blue ground with gilt floral decoration, with 錦光山製 (Kinkozan zo) "made by Kinkozan" mark in gilt and red to underside, and the second, a round and slender box with cover, painted with great detail to the cover and both sides of the interior, with 大日本古屋古山製造 (dai Nippon Furuya Furuyama sei zo) "made by Furuya Furuyama in Great Japan."
