Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji period (1868-1912), well potted satsuma decorated pear shaped vase with curled gilt handles flanking the shaped neck with decorative points, the body of the vase lavishly decorated with immortals with faces depicted in painterly detail, having a mark in gilt and red reading 楓山製造 (Fuzan sei zo) "Made by Fuzan" to underside.
