Pair are in very good estate condition, barrel bluing is healthy with a polished sheen indicative of fine English guns, bores are clean and shiny, barrels ring bright with a clean church bell tone, modest engraving remains clean and well defined on color cased action now with a coined patina, excellent selection of walnut by the stocker, stock finish is healthy with scattered gentle field marks present, drop points and checkering somewhat worn while patterns are still clearly visible.

Case leather exterior is well worn yet not worn through and intact, embossed personalization present on case lid, interior felt lining is largely without significant staining or tears, lock mechanism and straps are functional and intact.
