Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, a porcelain jar with flat cover hand painted in underglaze blue with Chinese calligraphy, with a handle to top of cover together with small handles flanking the upper body of jar in blue, with four character mark Jin tang fa ji (Mark of the Splendid Hall of Growing Prosperity) in underglaze blue to the underside.




10 3/8 x 12 x 9 3/4 in.

Purchased in Bangkok in 1969.

A few fleabites to handle of lid and one fleabite to handle of body; otherwise good estate condition.
