A Large Japanese Porcelain Kutani Imari Floor Vase

Meiji period (1868-1912), 19th century, with an elegant barbed rim, the long neck and bulbous body, hand painted with with figures and landscapes in shaped vignettes, peony and chrysanthemum blooms and ornate Japanese textile designs populate the space between with an iron red ground and gilt highlights over the rest of body, rim has blue circle motif border and a diamond border encircles the foot rim.
