Rahway, New Jersey, circa 1900, dual comb instrument with gilt mounting plate signed "REGINA" and stamped with serial number 27030, set within a two part carved Neoclassical style oak case, featuring two canted turned baluster columns, beneath a balustrade gallery pediment with two turned finials, cornice with engraved brass mount "ORCHESTRAL REGINA", finished in gadrooned moldings, the large upper slide front tondo widow flanked by ornate ormolu spandrels above a lower carved slide front door, lifting to reveal a fall front compartment with disc storage, side mounted with winding arm and coin slot, raised on turned bun feet. Together with (15) 27-inch discs.

From the Collection of Wade Woodleif, Henderson, North Carolina Operating with good sound at time of evaluation; lower slide front door with loss to metal spring to the left track (front panel still slides well); some shrinkage cracks to the lower front panel; some small edge nicks to the case and columns and few minor scratches to case; discs with some spotting and areas of denting; gallery pediment is later but in style with original form.
