Overall excellent estate condition, barrel bluing is excellent throughout, bores are bright and shiny, rifle bore rifling is sharp and clean, barrels ring with a muted tone, barrel to action fit is slightly loose, color casing is evenly dispersed, engraving is sharp and clear, nitre bluing is exceptionally well done and adjacent to gold washed pins is a very attractive look, quality walnut used for the stock and forend and the finish remains healthy, some scattered moderate field marks on the rear most areas of the buttstock, checkering is tactile albeit slightly worn, horn buttplate is intact with some toe wear and worm holes.
