Serial number 322674 and text of REMINGTON WOODMASTER MODEL 742 present on left side of receiver, semi-automatic, caliber marking .30-06 SPRG present on 22 in. blued steel barrel with elevated rear sight base and screw-on ramped front sight, detachable box magazine, drilled and tapped with fillister screws installed, checkered walnut buttstock with capped pistol grip and factory buttplate, checkered walnut forend.

Overall excellent estate condition and nearly as new, bluing through presents as factory new, bore is shiny with crisp rifling, stock finish shows the faintest of rare field marks, buttplate screws have surface rust present, buttplate slightly discolored.
