Serial number 3111629 and text REMINGTON SPORTSMAN 48 present on left side of receiver, semi-automatic, text of 12GA FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS present on 30 in. blued barrel with single bead on soldered base, manual safety, checkered walnut buttstock with capped pistol grip and checkered walnut forend, factory buttplate.

Overall excellent estate condition, barrel and action bluing is excellent condition with a hunter satin sheen and very few scattered blemishes, overall stock finish is heathy ad devoid of cracks, finish wear, scuffing, and 1 in. slender gouge present along left side of buttstock, finish wear on most forward end of forend and rear left side of forend, checkering remains clean and sharp.
