Overall good estate condition, barrel bluing is healthy with gentle scattered field marks and a hunter satin sheen, bores are shiny with very faint and scarce pitting, barrels ring with clear church bell tone, barrel to action fit is very slightly loose, receiver wearing an old coined patina with clear and legible engraving, buttstock and forend finish is health, minimal field marks, horn trigger guard is free of cracks, horn buttplate free of blemishes save one small circular chip next to upper buttplate screw, checkering is largely healthy with minimal areas of smoothing, forend possesses small sliver chips at upper rear edge where meeting the barrel and a large sliver chip along right side at the front near the schnabel tip.
