Southmont, North Carolina, circa 1990s, hand-made of pine with mahogany trim, red fiberglass exterior, made for Bob Timberlake with BobTimberlake brand signature quill, closed mahogany gunwales, two thwarts and deeply shaped yoke are also mahogany.

Gray draws inspiration from traditional Native American designs—especially the rugged Abenaki style—adapting them for the demanding rivers and lakes of the Carolinas. His collaboration with artist Bob Timberlake began with a birchbark canoe for the original Keep America Beautiful campaign, eventually leading to the restoration of what is now the largest canoe collection in the Southeast.

Overall very good estate condition, wicker handle is broken.
