Early 20th century, includes a pair of porcelain teacups with saucers hand painted with scenes of elegant ladies visiting a temple (cup 2 1/8 in., saucer 5 1/2 in.), and a mixed metal plaque with lobed shaped blossom reserves decorated with scenes from Japanese narrative (12 1/8 in. diameter).

Property of a Chapel Hill Gentleman

One set of teacup and saucer with break and repair with associated fleabites to cup and saucer; all with hairlines, fleabites to rims and feet of cups and rims of saucers, small areas of gilt rubbing, and areas of old adhesive residue; plaque in good estate condition.
