Bayard Wootten (1875–1959) was a pioneering female photographer known for capturing the people, landscapes, and culture of North Carolina and the American South. She co-founded the Wootten-Moulton Studios in Chapel Hill, which became renowned for its portraiture and commercial photography during the early 20th century. Through her artistry and entrepreneurial spirit, Wootten helped shape the visual record of the region’s history and identity.

Overall very good condition; some minor margin creases and few smudges to verso; one with diagonal line in sky that appears to be inherent to printing.
