19th or 20th century, a traditional Japanese home rectangular hibachi with elements and accessories, the hibachi (smallest elm 12 1/2 x 12 3/4 in.; medium wooden section 12 5/8 x 14 1/4 in.; largest elm 14 x 26 3/4 x 14 1/4 in.), and teapot (8 3/4 x 7 x 6 in.), footed pot on wood plinth (9 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.), and a basket with metal insert (10 1/4 x 9 3/4 in.)
All hibachis with surface wear to exterior, metal inserts with wear and verdigris, small scattered cracks to interior wood components; smallest hibachi with some gapping at joints, later wood repair to inner rim; largest hibachi with some gapping to underside and undersides of a few drawers; teapot with a few small spots of verdigris, small loss to caning around handle; wood base to footed pot with chips and wear, pot with scattered verdigris to interior; metal insert to basket with verdigris.
