The first, a triptych format, three sheets with ladies in a palace setting learning to sword fight with wooden sticks, each identified with a cartouche, signed "Kunisada ga," presented under glass in divided mat in thick border gilt wood frame (frame dimensions 24 x 40 in., Sight size 14 1/4 x 31 in.)(toning to paper; wear with staining, soil, and water spots to paper; horizontal crease lines to each; fading to color; trimmed margins; not examined outside of the frame), the second, three illustrated book pages, framed separately in identical manner under glass with fabric mats (frame dimensions 14 1/2 x 11 1/2 in., sight size 6 x 4 in.)(overall good estate condition; some light wear; not examined outside of the frames).
