Chikashige Morikawa (Japanese, active 1869-1880s), A Woodblock Print Triptych of Kabuki Actors

Dated Meiji 13 (1880), woodblock print, triptych format, three sheets with actors in period costumes, each actor identified with a cartouche, signed "Morikawa Chikashige ga" with toshidama seal to center print, presented under glass under divided mat in gilt wood frame.



Frame dimensions 19 x 34 1/4 in., Sight size 13 1/2 x 29 1/4 in.

Fading to color; some stains to one print; not examined outside of the frame.
