Two Chinese Carved Red Cinnabar Lacquer Jars with Covers

Early 20th century, includes a larger jar in bulbous shape decorated in floral pattern and dome cover topped with finial presented with a carved wood stand (7 3/4 in., 5 in. diameter), and a smaller cylindrical jar decorated with sage figures, with cover (3 1/2 in., 3 1/2 in. diameter).

Some wear and loss to lacquer mainly at base of larger jar, small cracks to body, dust soiling to crevices; carved wood stand with a few small scuffs; smaller jar with a few minute areas of paint cracking.
