Tsukioka Kogyo (Japanese, 1869-1927), Mount Fuji and Imari Dish

Includes a woodblock print, dated 1900, featuring a noh actor in elaborate costume with Mount Fuji looming in the background, from the series "Pictures of Noh Plays (Nogaku zue)," artist signature to lower left corner together with red seal, presented under glass in gilt wood frame, and a porcelain dish with scalloped rim and fluted body, hand painted in Imari palette with divided sections and shaped vignettes with birds and flowers, unmarked.
