Overall good estate condition, bores are shiny with scattered light to moderate pitting most significantly in the last third of their lengths, scattered small pitting on exterior, two shallow dent sat 2:00 on right barrel 6 1/2 in. and 1 1/2 in. from muzzle, barrel ring resonate yet somewhat muted with a lower pitched tone, handful of small nicks in edges of top rib, deep relief cut engraving remains sharp, receiver patina is a dull dark silver coin appearance, very slight screw slot damage, stock finish is healthy and attractive with a satin sheen indicating a prior refinish, some attractive figuring present in buttstock, checkering possibly recut by a professional with skill, checkered cheek panels present typically found on a B grade or higher gun, all checkering remains clean and sharp.
