Both coins are graded "UNC" in 2-1/2 in. square holders stamped in-house by Sears, Roebuck & Co., dates include 1885 and 1885-O. The Philadelphia coin has bold frosty white surfaces; the New Orleans dollar, though UNC, shows a bit of wear to high points.
From the 1940s though the 1960s, many department stores had their own in-house coin and stamp department.
