Two Uncirculated Morgan Silver Dollars From the "SEARS COIN SHOP"

Both coins are graded "UNC" in 2-1/2 in. square holders stamped in-house by Sears, Roebuck & Co., dates include 1883-O and 1884-O. The 1883 coin is crisp and well-struck; the 1884 dollar has a bit of peripheral PVC contamination.

From the 1940s though the 1960s, many department stores had their own in-house coin and stamp department.
