Including four pieces with mark of Samuel Williamson, circa 1820s - (2) teapots (10 1/4 in. and 11 1/2 in.), a sugar bowl with cover, and a cream jug. Each with period script monogram "JMG," and featuring finials modeled as birds with spread wings, each with chased and punchwork designs, each with open cartouche opposite monogramed cartouche, the sugar bowl featuring cast handles in the form of floral cornucopias and supported by a female mask below.
Two pieces with mark of C. Bard & Co., circa 1850 - a teapot (9 1/2 in.) and waste bowl (6 1/2 x 6 5/8 in. diameter). Each a close copy of the earlier design by Williamson, no monograms.

By descent through the Stewart Family, Lancaster, Pennsylvania Samuel Williamson was a silversmith in Philadelphia from 1794 to 1813. He served his apprenticeship with Joseph Lownes in Philadelphia. In 1813 or 1814 he moved to Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania where he bought a farm.
All insulators have been replaced and show age and loss; otherwise all pieces are in good estate condition.
