Tang dynasty period or style, includes a pair of unglazed painted earthenware female figures dressed in formal attire, hands and heads are removable (8 1/4 in.)(hands are now secured in place by undetermined adhesive; losses to pigments; chips to base of one), and a pair of
sancai glazed female figures wearing elegant robes and hair in fashionable chignons, faces painted (9 1/4 in.)(losses to pigments; possible restorations; some chips and losses to edge of robe and feet).
