20th century, ink and colors on silk, a male ancestor is depicted wearing formal court robe with civil rank badge, seated on a throne chair with floral covering, the woman is also dressed in a formal court robe, elaborate headdress and earrings, seated on a chair with same textile draped on back of chair as her partner, a finely rendered rug below both chairs, presented framed under glass.
