19th-20th century, the first walking stick carved in bamboo, depicting samurai and flora motifs, likely Japanese (36.25 in.); the second with similar carvings in bamboo, with silver-toned shield ferrule engraved "JB" and silver-toned ground tip (33 in.); the third a likely lacquered briarwood, featuring a silver stoned ferrule mount beneath the crook type handle (36.5 in.); the fourth a walking stick wooden shaft is carved with a western-style 19th-century cannon barrel (34.5 in.); the fifth walking stick consists of stacked carved horn rings with bulbous handle, unmarked (34.5 in.).
