A Set of Four Chinese Panels with Inlay of Scholarly Items

20th century, each with decorated black lacquer frames, the panels are inlaid with hardstone arrangements of tall vases with seasonal flowers accompanied by scholarly items.

Frame dimensions (each panel) 36 x 12 in.

Background of each panel later painted white; rubbing and wear with some loss to gilt on frames; some cracking to lacquer on frames.
