19th century, red and gilt lacquered leather wrapped wooden boxes with brass mounts, decorated with pastoral and figural vignettes, one includes locking mechanism.

Small box: one hinge not secured to lid, overall cracking and gilt rubbing to lacquer, stiffness to clasp, some loss to lacquer at corners and lid.
Medium box: losses to one corner, overall gilt rubbing, small cracks to lacquer on exterior, warping and cracking to interior lacquer, spotting to interior, looseness to escutcheon, clasp does not lock securely, lock present.
Large box: water damage and spotting to interior, overall wear and small areas of cracking to lacquer, gilt rubbing to decoration.
