Percussion cap pistol with onboard ramrod, text of EIG under crown cartouche present to the rear of the hammer on lock plate, number 1867 and text of BIRMINGHAM and the number 11 present forward of the hammer on lock plate, left side of walnut stock displays circular stamp of EIG surrounded by BIRMINGHAM, stamp of number 1886 and other characters stamped in stock, brass grip cap with lanyard loop, brass trigger guard, multiple corroded cartouche marks along left side rear of barrel.
