Serial number 867001 present on underside of lever-action receiver, text of MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. .32 W.C.F. present on 24 1/2 octagon blued steel barrel, dovetail rear sight with elevator, dovetail front sight, text of MODEL 1892 WINCHESTER present on top tang of action, half length magazine tube, smooth walnut buttstock and forend, curved steel buttplate.

Overall very good estate condition, bluing remains largely unworn on barrel, bolt, hammer, trigger and buttplate, scattered light surface rust most notables on side of lever, some exterior pitting on barrel at the muzzle, action has taken on an old gun brown patina, bore has frosty appearance with rifling clearly visible, stock finish in healthy condition, 1/32 in. sliver gap between buttstock head and receiver.
