Serial number 152898 present on underside of lever-action receiver, text of SAVAGE HI-PRESSURE STEEL .30-30 present on 22 in. blued steel barrel, dovertail rear sight with elevator, dovetail front sight on a ramped base with barrel band, takedown variant receiver, brass round count indicator, cocking indicator, checkered walnut buttstock and forend, capped pistol grip, lined steel buttplate.

Overall fair estate condition, bore frosted and slightly dull with visible rifling, blued finishes worn throughout, surface rust, brown gun patina, ding and notches in metal most notably three deep gouges on right side of receiver forward of lever, cocking indicator not operations, lever spring is broken or missing allowing lever to rattle significantly, level previously bent and straightened leaving evidence of the repair in the shape of the lever loop, aftermarket allen key set screw installed in rear sight for retention, sliver break along top left edge of forend, stock and forend finish is reasonably health with clean checkering.
