Serial number 131680A present on left side of blued lever-action receiver, text of WINCHESTER MODEL 88 CAL. 308 WIN present on 21 1/2 in. blued steel barrel, dovetail folding rear sight, hooded ramp front sight, detachable box magazine, sling loops, checkered one piece capped pistol grip stock.
