Serial number 533521 present on underside of gold colored lever-action receiver, text of WINCHESTER MODEL 65 218 BEE present on 24 in. blued steel barrel, 2/3 length magazine tube, rear sight dovetail filler, dovertail front with with MARLBES sight, MARBLES peep sight mounted to action top tang, gold colored forend cap and buttplate, blued lever, loading gate, hammer and trigger, smooth walnut buttstock and forend with decorative wood design inlay in left and right side of buttstock.

Overall excellent estate condition, bluing remains clean and dark throughout with a higher polish sheen, bore is clean and shiny with sharp rifling, slight handling marks in few scattered locations, gold coating on right upper edge of buttplate showing flaking, high sheen stock finish over very attractive deep brown walnut, inlaid bee motif skillfully executed.
