Lily Lefferts Brown (American, 1870-1952) was the last surviving member of the Avon Bard Club, a New Rochelle Shakespearean society which she joined in 1908. She was the widow of Donald Campbell Brown, a New York fire insurance broker. This mug was presented to her during infancy, commemorating her birth.

Small dent to the base, minor pitting to the rim and foot.
