Circa 1900, an oval rosewood tray with beautifully carved border of plum blossoms with scrolling tendrils above a key motif, bamboo sterling silver handles flank the tray, the center is set with a smooth silver medallion, one handle marked Tuck Chang.

Tuck Chang was a prominent silversmith in Shanghai during the late 19th to early 20th century known for producing high quality Chinese Export silver. His workshop specialized in finely chased decoration that combined traditional Chinese motifs with Western forms.
some light wear to underside rim from use; some scratches to wood surface; some minor water spots to wood; silver handles are a tad loose.
