Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, a dark wood lacquer four panel screen, the front divided into two sections, the upper section depicts a joyous gathering symbolizing "One Hundred Boys," Chinese boys are depicted in marvelous stone inlay and gold pigment playing in a garden villa, in sections below pairs of deer, horses, and oxen are depicted grazing under trees in stone inlay and gold pigments, all within a gold painted border, the reverse side has is painted in gold with birds and flowers above fruit arrangements.

Some nicks and loss to raised edges of border; scattered areas of cracking to panels; some loss to inlay on trees; the screen has been secured to a wooden frame to hang on a wall; reverse side with more areas of cracking to surface.
