Overall very good estate condition, bores are bright and shiny, barrel rings with a resonant tone, barrel to action fit is strong, barrel bluing sheen is high polish with very rare faint scratches, tiny ding at edge of top rib near maker name and address, engraving remains crisp and articulate, buttstock and forend show typical field marks, right side of forend displays small splinter of wood missing at edge adjacent to barrel, checkering is fine LPI and largely healthy with some edge wear and gentle scattered point damage, recoil pad well fit.
