Showa period (1926-1989), a hollow brass urn with high relief dragon clutching a pearl, surrounded by engraved clouds, drilled and fitted as a lamp, with brass mount, carved wood base, and artichoke form gilt and gessoed wood finial.
HOA 46 1/2 x 14 x 14 in.
Vase not examined outside of mounts; working at time of evaluation; verdigris mainly to crevices of dragon relief; surface marks and stains to brass; chip to wood base; a few small nicks to finial.
