Meiji period (1868-1912), redware footed vase with gilt bas-relief dragon surrounded by billowing stippled texture clouds to body, decorative cartouches and patterning to neck and rim, drilled and fitted with a light fixture, with bas-relief and gilt bronze mount with fruit basket and foliate motifs, all mounted to reticulated bronze base raised on four paw feet, with urn form gilt and gesso wood finial.
HOA 45 x 12 x 12 in.
Working at time of evaluation; not examined outside of mounts; a few small scattered surface marks to vase; a few areas of verdigris to mount.
