J. E. Terrey & Co., led by London silversmith John Edward Terrey, was active during the late Georgian and early Victorian periods. Terrey first registered his maker’s mark around 1814, initially in partnership with Samuel Hennell, before establishing his own workshop in London’s silversmithing districts of Foster Lane and later Hatton Garden. His firm created substantial hollowware, such as trays, bowls, tureens, and presentation pieces, distinguished by cast ornamentation and finely executed chasing. His pieces can be found in significant collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum.

The creamer with a dent; otherwise very good condition.
